For decades, educational quality was measured almost exclusively by two indicators: reading and math. This video series invites us to broaden that view: alongside literacy and numeracy, students need to develop critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication, and empathy to navigate a rapidly changing world with confidence.
Across four chapters, we explore this concept from different angles: what breadth of skills means, why developing it alongside cognitive competencies strengthens learning, what role school leadership teams play in embedding it into school culture, and how it becomes an essential condition for children and young people to use artificial intelligence critically, creatively, and responsibly.
Each video stands on its own, yet together they trace a single arc: from the question of why breadth of skills matters, to how to lead it and project it against the challenges brought by the AI era.
